Just before Christmas 2004 I “persuaded” the Clerk of Works (SWMBO) that Withy Grove Junction Garden Railway would benefit from the addition of a Live Steam Engine.

My steam engine is built from a kit supplied by Roundhouse Engineering in Doncaster. The kit comes in 3 “modules”. The chassis (including wheels and cylinders). The boiler and the body kit.

Roundhouse do three engines in kit form. Lady Anne (my engine), Katie and Billy. They also manufacture and supply several other railway steam engines. You can buy boilers and chassis separately and build your own style of engine.
